I made this app because the birthdays I kept missing were sitting right there in my contacts all along. Birthday Reminder++ Calendar reads them for you and shows whose day it is today and who is next, so a quick glance is all it takes.

Turn on reminders and your phone tells you at 9 in the morning who has a birthday and the age they turn. Everyone celebrating today also gets a greeting button. A tap opens a birthday text in Messages with their name already filled in, ready to send as is or make your own first.

There is nothing to retype and no separate list to maintain. Today’s birthdays get their own section, and everyone else is sorted by how soon their day comes, with the age they are turning and a countdown in days. Contacts that are missing a birthday can get one added directly from the app, saved straight to the contact card, and a tap on anyone in the list opens their card for a quick call or edit. The 2026 version is rewritten from the ground up for iOS 26, works properly on iPad, shows contact photos, and speaks both English and Norwegian.
