Privacy Policy for Pantelapp
Pantelapp stores your deposit slips (store name, amount, date, and barcode) locally on your device, along with the optional store location you attach to a slip. The camera is used only to scan slips; images are processed on the device and never saved or sent anywhere. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The widget reads the outstanding amount from shared on-device storage.
When you add a slip to Apple Wallet, that slip’s store name, amount, date, barcode, and optional store location are sent to my pass-signing service so it can create the signed pass. The service returns the pass, does not store the slip, and never logs barcode values or precise coordinates. It runs on Cloudflare.
The app uses first-party analytics to understand which screens and features are used. It sends screen names and event
names such as slip_saved and slip_used, but never the amount, store, barcode, location, or any other content from
your slips.
The analytics system also receives a random identifier that changes at least daily and is never stored on your device, app and device information, and an approximate location derived from the network request. Raw IP addresses are not stored. Nothing links your usage from one day to the next. Analytics is operated by the developer using Umami, Fly.io, and Supabase. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to track you across apps or websites.
Analytics data is retained until it is deleted as part of system maintenance. Deleting the app stops future collection. For privacy questions, contact Runar Ovesen Hjerpbakk at runar@hjerpbakk.com.
