Why deceptive patterns work, six examples from real sites and four tips to avoid misleading your users.

Nei takk, jeg vil ikke spare penger
Talk for Ping 2026 about dark patterns, the design choices that make it cheap to say yes and expensive to say no. It goes through six patterns from Norwegian and international sites, from confirmshaming to drip pricing and fake scarcity, why each one works on the brain, what the DSA and GDPR say about them, and how a dark pattern gets born out of an A/B test and a quarterly target without anyone in the room doing anything wrong.

Produktutforskning nå som AI er nyttig
Talk for the Bart.js meetup in Trondheim about product discovery and what AI does to it. It covers why the wrong product gets built (the four risks, and teams that add features but never remove them), how opportunity solution trees, measurements and prototyping worked at three customers, and what changes now that prototypes are back and building is easy: the temptation to build too much instead of chasing the value.

Produktutforskning nå som AI er nyttig
Talk about product discovery now that AI has become genuinely useful, drawing on two real projects: a finance system at HENT and map tools at NGU. It shows how to validate hypotheses faster and get from idea to something testable quickly, using rough prototypes and small experiments against real data, so teams discuss less and decide based on something concrete.

Using OST to Drive Better Product Decisions
Talk for Media Cluster Norway about using Opportunity Solution Trees (OST) to bring structure to product discovery and decision-making. It covers how to connect user needs to outcomes, prioritize better and cut wasted effort, and how these principles hold up as AI changes product development, so product leaders stay focused on real impact.
